The days are still short, but with just a 25 miles drive into Rutland, we can visit a SSSI reserve with over 30 hides to see wintering waders, ducks, egrets and geese. Visitor Centre with toilet facilities. Entry fee £7.50 (£6.50 concession) if you don’t have a permit. LE15 8BT
