Situated in the Upper Nene Valley near Wellingborough, Northamptonshire, this reserve with its low-lying gravel islands will attract waders and is good for wintering waterfowl. Mature hedgerows harbour Tree Sparrows and we may see the early winter visitors such as Siskin, Fieldfare and Redwings too.
