Willington Wetlands Nature Reserve

This former gravel quarry has been transformed into a nature reserve which has many different species of birds. Beavers were introduced here some years ago, so although we will be unlikely to see them, we should see how they have helped to improve the area for wildlife.

Situated down an unmade lane (Meadow Lane) which comes off the Repton road just before the bridge over the River Trent, Willington, Derbyshire. DE65 6PD
